The Photo Show is cancelled for reasons related to the Covid-19 virus.
2020 marks the 10th Annual Warkworth Lilac Festival and the 9th Annual Lilac Festival Photo Contest & Show. The first Lilac Festival in 2011 was held to celebrate the beauty of 83 varieties of over 300 lilacs, many of them rare, planted along the Millennium Lilac Trail in the unique village of Warkworth – a designated Trent Hills arts community and destination.
In 2012, Maureen O'Grady and a Committee of active supporters began the Photo Contest and Show. Since then, photographers from Peterborough to Prince Edward County and from Cambridge to Kingston and beyond have enthusiastically participated. They appreciate its Easy Online Registration, Low Entry Fee, No Printing Costs and almost $1,000 in cash prizes (thanks to the generosity of organizations and businesses in the Municipality of Trent Hills).
You'll find Warkworth to be a friendly village with a variety of interesting shops to explore, as well as enjoying the many attractions at the Lilac Festival.
The Photo Contest Finalist Showcase will be at
The Centre & Main Chocolate Company,
50 Centre Street (corner of Centre & Main), Warkworth
